Miriam Levin
Expert AdviserMiriam Levin is Programme Director at Engage Britain, which brings people together to tackle our country’s biggest challenges. She is leading their first project which answers the question: how do we ensure everyone gets the health and care they need? The project knits together different methodologies in a new way to build national policy from the grassroots up, using distributed dialogues, citizens assemblies, co-design workshops, polling and public message testing.
Prior to this, she was Head of Community Action for the UK Government where she ran national community empowerment programmes using deliberative democracy to involve people in public decision-making and community organising to create active, mobilised citizens. Miriam was senior consultant at Soundings, leading community engagement work around planning and regeneration, and was Head of Outreach at English Heritage.
