Sebastian Rees

Senior Researcher

I joined Reform in 2020 and in my time here I have worked on a range of subjects, from improving government's approach to crisis and emergency planning to children and young people's mental health.

Since the end of 2022, I have led Reform's 'Reimagining Health' research programme. I have a special interest in public health, value in medicine, and the future of primary care.

Before joining Reform, I worked as a journalist, covering Middle Eastern politics.

My favourite Reformer is…

Gough Whitlam, Australia’s Prime Minister, 1972-5
