I joined Reform as Research Manager in November 2018 with an interest in digital innovation, health tech and social care policy. Prior to joining Reform I was a Senior Analyst at the Research & Innovation Department at Centra - the technology and care & support arm of Clarion Housing Group. In this role I focused on delivering Centra’s innovation programme, leading on the evaluation and integration of cutting-edge assistive technologies. I was also involved in strategic research projects, including assessing the impact of the digital switchover on housing providers, and evaluating the effect of AI-powered monitoring technologies on people’s health and wellbeing outcomes. I am passionate about “technology for good’’ and its potential to deliver transformative change in public service delivery.
I also worked as a management consultant in the mining and metals industry in Chile and as a researcher at a London-based social impact agency. I have an undergraduate degree in Economics from the University of Chile and MSc in Politics and Globalisation from King’s College London.
In my spare time I like to travel, practise yoga, and go to the theatre. I also volunteer at a community garden in East London a couple of weekends a month.
My favourite Reformer is… Professor Daniel Kahneman for his ground-breaking research on heuristics, nudging and rational choice.
