Reimagining the local social contract: from users to citizens

Reform was delighted to hold Reimagining the Local State, a one-day conference exploring the challenges faced by local communities, identifying the inventive solutions that have already begun to emerge, and discussing the radical policies which could help to promote the emergence of a wholly new approach to government and self-governance.

As part of this conference, Reform had the pleasure of hosting a panel on 'Reimagining the local social contract: from users to citizens'. This featured Jo Gideon MP, Stoke-on-Trent Central, Alison McKenzie-Folan, Chief Executive of Wigan Council and Place Lead for Health & Care Integration, Greater Manchester, Jason Stockwood, Co-Founder of Our Future, Chair of Grimsby Town football club, and Rich Wilson, CEO of Iswe, Founder of Involve.

This panel was kindly supported by Wigan Council.
