The potential of automation across government

Reform was delighted to host a high-level roundtable on ‘The potential of automation across government’, led by Oliver Dowden CBE MP, Parliamentary Secretary (Minister for Implementation) at the Cabinet Office.

The Cabinet Office’s Shared Services Strategy for Government sets out a blueprint for digital transformation across government services over the next ten years. In this plan, automation is credited with performing “repeatable tasks and allows processes to be completed with greater speed and accuracy.”

This roundtable explored how to harness the potential of automation for the public sector and was held under the Chatham House Rule.
