Levelling up the high street

Reform is delighted to be hosting a private roundtable event at Conservative Party Conference in partnership with Power to Change.

In many places, hollowed-out high streets and town centres have become emblematic of decades of lost opportunities. To address this long-term decline, the Government has put ‘levelling up’ at the core of its legislative and policy agenda, with ambitions to promote economic growth and community wellbeing across the whole country. This is exemplified by the billions invested in town-centre and local area regeneration through the Future High Streets Fund and Towns Fund.  

Reform is delighted to hold this roundtable, led by Danny Kruger MP, to discuss what steps the government must take to restore local pride in high streets and level up across the country.  

This roundtable will be held under the Chatham House rule.
