With the Levelling-up and Regeneration Bill progressing through parliament and headlines being generated by the Labour Party’s explicit, ambitious adoption of the levelling up agenda, the stage is set for a crucial policy debate on the future of the Levelling Up agenda at the next election.
Reform is delighted to be hosting a roundtable, led by the chair of the Levelling Up, Housing and Communities Select Committee, Clive Betts MP. The roundtable will reflect upon the current trends in devolution policy, the status of the levelling up agenda, and the lessons we might draw from more than a decade of observing the shifting relationship between central and local government.
This roundtable is in-person, invite-only and will be held under the Chatham House rule.
