Reform was delighted to convene a high-level roundtable on ‘Building on success: the next stage of NHS reform’ led by Simon Stevens, Chief Executive, NHS England.
The future of the National Health Service is always one of the most important policy areas, and it is even more so as the Service’s 70th birthday approaches. The reform programme sponsored by NHS England is gathering momentum, with ideas such as personal budgets coming to the fore. Policymakers are interested in a long term plan to provide sustainable funding for the NHS, raising questions of the best use of additional funds. This timely event will discuss the priorities for the next stage of NHS reform and its implementation in the rest of this Parliament.
This event brought together around 20 attendees, including senior policy-makers, public service leaders and business leaders. It was held under Chatham House Rule.
This event was held in partnership with BT, as part of a programme with Reform generating new ideas on building better public services
