Reform is delighted to be hosting a flagship private panel event at the Conservative Party Conference.
This year has seen unprecedented shifts in the devolution of power from central to local government. The ‘Trailblazer’ devolution deals in Greater Manchester and the West Midlands have promised much more autonomy, enabling these regions to decide themselves how best to use their resources according to local needs.
Reform is delighted to hold this event with Rt Hon Mayor Andy Burnham, Greater Manchester Combined Authority and Laura Shoaf, Chief Executive, West Midlands Combined authority to discuss the future trajectory of England’s most rapidly maturing combined authorities, the central government policies which will be needed to ensure their success, and the lessons for both major parties as devolution policy reaches an exciting new phase.
This panel will be held outside the Secure Zone at the Manchester Art Gallery, about a five minute walk.
This is a public event and we would be delighted to see you there. If you would like to attend, please email events@reform.uk
