Dr Timothy Rawson
Reform ScholarTim is an NIHR Academic Clinical Fellow in Infectious Diseases and Medical Microbiology working as a Specialist Trainee in the NHS. He is an honorary clinical lecturer at Imperial College London and honorary clinical fellow at the University of Liverpool. His research focuses on antimicrobial stewardship and antimicrobial resistance, biosensor technology, antimicrobial dose optimisation, and machine learning. Tim is a Research Theme Lead for the Health Protection Research Unit in Healthcare Associated Infections and Antimicrobial Resistance at Imperial College London.
As a Reform Scholar, Tim will write about prescriptions policy in response to the growing crisis in the effectiveness of antibiotic medicines.
